Netherlands tells companies to stop using tracking cookies – Lexology Pro

The Dutch data protection authority has become the first regulator outside Belgium to publicly acknowledge the incompatibility of tracking technologies for online advertising with the GDPR.

In a response to inquiries from local media, the Dutch privacy regulator (AP) said that it is no longer possible for websites to use the IAB Europe-developed Transparency & Consent framework.
